Get away from the hustle and bustle in the walled town of Conwy
Gwynfa - Your Cottage in Conwy
Call Us: 07746 822250

Gwynfa is a delightful self catering terraced cottage sited just beneath the medieval walls of the historic town of Conwy - the upper gateway and its towers overlook the cottage's location - which is Stryd y Gwynt.
The cottage occupies a quiet secluded location with its own adjacent parking yet is only five minutes walk from the town and its shops, the castle and the quayside.
Given the Cottage's central location, its own adjacent parking, also an area of garden giving Stryd y Gwynt a feeling of seclusion and privacy, the cottage is a brilliant base.

The cosy lounge/diner has a log burner style gas fire set in a stone inglenook fireplace - all decorated and furnished in a light modern style. The compact kitchen is bright, modern and very well fitted. Perfect for the Self Catering visitor.
A staircase from the lounge area leads to the double bedroom, which has a kingsize bed and separate bathroom with overhead shower.
Facilities include fixed wall mounted electric heating, fridge, washer/dryer, microwave, radio/CD player and colour T.V. with video. All bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels are provided. Gas and electricity are included in the summer with a £20 heating supplement charged from October 1st to May 1st.
The cottage was built around 1860, probably to house railwaymen, although a little later much of the row was owned by a local fish merchant. There was originally a similar row opposite but this was demolished some years ago, the site has been retained by the Council giving visitors to Wind Street the advantage of the 'garden' area ensuring a quiet, secluded location. This self catering cottage has all the charm that you would expect to find in Conwy, perfect for your walking, cycling or horse riding base camp.
